Klaas Haven Basic School Education Project
Everyone, no matter their age, gender or race should have “free” access to Basic Education. Realizing the need for quality education in Ghana, Thirdway-Ghana decided to set up schools as its contribution to the governmental program Free Compulsory Universal Basic Education (FCUBE), which aims to make Basic Education free by the year 2020.
In December 2001, Thirdway set up The Klaas Haven School at Kasoa, the Central Region of Ghana. Initially it was comprised of 2 classrooms but by 2009 the school was furnished with 8 classrooms and space allocated for computers.
